Started because the middle ground was empty.
The largest advisory houses are engineered for scale, which is another way of saying they send juniors to run other people's playbooks at prices set by the room they book. Independent operators face the opposite problem: sharp thinking without the bench behind it, and no reach when a mandate crosses a border. Both models fail the businesses that need something between the two.
Solmesa Partners was founded to occupy that middle ground: a firm small enough that a partner is on every call, and serious enough to run a diligence exercise across four countries when the deal demands it.
